2026 SALA Playoff Championship Tournament

SALA is pleased to announce that the 2026 Playoff Championship Tournament schedule is now finalized, and brackets can be viewed here. All games will be hosted in Lethbridge and Coaldale from June 19–21.

Teams have now received their hotel block information, and all accommodations should be booked for the tournament dates of June 19–21.

Important Reminders for Team Managers

To ensure a smooth and professional championship experience, SALA asks all team managers to review the following requirements:

  • Game Sheet Volunteers — Volunteers assigned to electronic game sheets must have prior experience. Please do not assign parents or volunteers who have not previously completed an electronic game sheet.

  • End-of-Game Verification — Each team manager or game sheet volunteer is responsible for verifying the game sheet with the on-floor official immediately at the end of the game. Delays cannot be accommodated.

  • Discipline Procedures — All discipline matters will be handled by the Discipline & Appeals Chair and an appointed committee on an as-needed basis.

  • Provincial Qualification — Champions in U13, U15, and U17 will advance to the ALA Minor Box Provincials in Medicine Hat, July 10–12.

  • Bench & Floor Access — Only rostered bench staff and rostered players may be on the bench or floor.

  • Helmet Requirements — All minors, including non-playing goalies, must wear helmets at all times while on the floor or on the bench.

The SALA Playoff Championship Tournament is a highlight of the season. We look forward to an exciting weekend of competition, sportsmanship, and community spirit.
