Female Lacrosse
Another exciting season of Box Lacrosse is here, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to get things rolling. Last year was a fantastic success, and this season is shaping up to be even bigger—especially with the introduction of female-only box lacrosse at the Alberta Summer Games, featuring a dedicated Sunny South Zone 1 team.
We’re committed to making this our strongest season yet, and that starts with growing our local lacrosse community. All returning players ages 6-16 are invited to join us for our first free session. Bring a friend who might want to experience the fastest game on two feet and help us share the sport we love.

Summer Games Opportunity: The more players we have, the stronger our Zone 1 program is, especially for the 13 and 14-year-olds who have the chance to compete in the Alberta Summer Games this year! We have strong support from the Alberta government to keep female players in the game and we expect it to be back every 2 years for each Alberta Summer Games so younger players can start working to that goal now.

Alberta is leader in female Box Lacrosse: Our U22 female team are the 3 time back-to-back-to-back champions and Alberta female box lacrosse players have played in world championships!

What to Bring:
Returning Players: Please bring your stick, helmet, gloves, and indoor shoes.
New Friends: We will provide a stick! They just need a hockey-style helmet (with a face mask), hockey/lacrosse gloves, and indoor athletic shoes.
